Marketing Coordinator – Raleigh Division

Position Summary:

To provide marketing support in the RTP market area to ensure operational success. Serve as co-owner of web site content, creative execution and event planning.

 

Essential Functions:  Core duties or tasks fundamental and not marginal to the performance of the job. 

  1. Coordinate and implement all Smith Douglas public relations events and materials to build an effective brand which might include working with outsourced sales and marketing partners
  2. Complete website updates to community web pages as needed on a timely basis.
  3. Manage and maintain all community signage including WEDs and billboards.
  4. Work with Marketing Manager and Sales Manager to produce:
  • Onsite and offsite signage
  • Local events for brokers, customers, and homeowners
  • Promotional specific handouts, advertisements, direct mail, etc.
  • Sales office displays
  1. Assist Sales Manager in defining Sales Center and Model Homes to include ordering displays and Model Home furniture. Review selections based on demographics.
  2. Monitor effectiveness of all marketing trade partners and vendors.
  3. Work with creative production agency(s) to produce marketing collateral for communities.
  4. Join and actively participate in local sales, marketing and home building organizations to keep abreast of the market.
  5. Attend and present when needed at weekly sales meeting.
  6. Implement and uphold marketing policies and procedures, including guidelines for all marketing job tasks.
  7. Assist with broker presentations as needed.
  8. Coding and processing of all marketing related invoices
  9. Creation and maintenance of Base Price Lists and Included Features list
  10. Creation and maintenance of all New Community Start Up Notebooks and Selection Manuals

 

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education:  College degree in marketing or related field

Experience: 1 – 2 years office experience  

Computer Skills:  Microsoft Office, Internet
