Homebuilding Financial Analyst

FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-Time

Reports to: VP Finance / Division President

The financial analyst will be a key member of the division leadership for one of the largest and fastest growing private homebuilders in the Southeast. 

Essential Functions

  • Monthly review of financials, variance reports and analysis of key accounts
  • Develops initial proforma financial / feasibility analysis on potential land acquisition opportunities
  • Leads the annual budgeting process for the divisions
  • Updates quarterly forecasts
  • Serve as the key finance & accounting business partner to the Division President
  • Special projects and ad hoc analysis to assess financial and operational performance

Required Skills, Education, & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years progressive accounting or finance experience; construction or similar industry preferred
  • Advanced computer skills with expertise in Office applications; high-level Excel user
  • Attention to detail & strong analytical skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate in a professional manor with all levels of the organization
