Meet the Team: Smith Douglas Homes’ Newest Sales and Marketing Managers

We are proud to introduce our three newest team members at Smith Douglas Homes! Together, these new sales and marketing professionals are working to grow our company and help us become the best home builder in metro Atlanta.

Kim Henderson is now our West Division Sales Manager, where she manages all of the new home communities we have in Paulding and Cherokee counties. Kim comes to Smith Douglas with 19 years of experience in new home sales, and she was in corporate sales for 16 years before joining the real estate industry.

Throughout her real estate career, Kim has worked with a variety of home types that feature price points ranging from $90,000 to $3 million. She has worked with both local custom builders and national builders, and she has received numerous top producer awards from various companies.

Kim’s most recent endeavors have included becoming a qualifying broker for the new SDC Realty company after joining our team as a Sales Manager in November 2013. Kim is honored to be part of such a forward-thinking, fast-growing company. Tina Hughes recently joined Smith Douglas Homes as a New Home Specialist in February 2014. Shortly after, she was promoted to East Division Sales Manager, where she is responsible for the many Realtors that represent our communities in Gwinnett, Jackson, Hall and Forsyth counties.

Tina has enjoyed a nearly 20-year career in the real estate industry since becoming a Realtor in 1995. She also obtained her broker’s license in 2002 as she owned and operated Ivy Hall Realty in Dacula, which eventually became affiliated with Century 21. While handling the sales for multiple builder groups throughout metro Atlanta, her company continuously received the prestigious Century 21 Customer Service Award.

Our newest team member is Dusty Talbert, the West Division Marketing Manager. Dusty has four solid years of experience working in the homebuilding industry, as he previously worked for Beazer Homes, a top-10 national builder. While at Beazer, Dusty primarily focused on email marketing, creative development and marketing automation software systems that helped the company to save $240,000 on their annual budget. Dusty was also a support contact for the Regional Marketing Managers, as he helped to implement marketing strategies for communities nationwide.

With our recent expansion into a fifth metro Atlanta county and our new home offerings now spanning more than 22 communities, it was time for our company to grow internally as well. Together, this team of talented individuals will help strengthen the marketing and sales efforts at Smith Douglas Homes to help us grow even better than before!
