First-time homebuyers are invited to attend one of two workshops we’re hosting designed to teach you everything you need to know before making your first purchase! Held on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, the event will take place at both Woodstock Village in Woodstock and Woodward Crossing in Buford.
The First-Time Home Buyers Workshop will provide prospective buyers with a vast amount of knowledge, ensuring that the most common homebuying questions are answered. In addition to learning about homebuying, attendees will also be eligible to receive $5,000 towards closing costs if they choose to purchase from Smith Douglas Homes.*
Presented in conjunction with Fidelity Bank, the First-Time Home Buyers Workshop will begin at 10 a.m. During the workshop, buyers will learn about a variety of topics, including:
- Why Buy New: Working with a New Home Specialist
- Working with Your Builder
- The Closing
Immediately following the workshop, attendees can participate in a question and answer session with a panel of experts. The afternoon will conclude with a block-style party that includes a catered lunch. Woodward Crossing attendees will enjoy lunch from The Varsity, while the event at Woodstock Village will include food from Family Tradition, a local restaurant. This menu will offer a variety of chili, including white bean chicken chili or traditional chili, as well as all of the traditional chili topping, such as cheese, cornbread and more.
